Chris has been Director of UK Trade and Investment Nigeria since February 2015, based at the British Deputy High Commission in Lagos. Prior to this he headed the UKTI teams in Iraq, and later in Mexico. He has also worked on UKTI’s Middle East desk in London.
Chris joined the civil service graduate scheme in 2007 having read law at university, and was posted to the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS). He has held a number of positions in BIS including running two Ministerial private offices, and managing the department’s relationships with UK civil aerospace companies including Airbus and GKN.
