Iain Gill has worked previously in the Ministry of Justice and Foreign and Commonwealth Office, before joining UKTI in 2015. He spent four years working at the British embassy in Colombia as political and economic secretary, where his duties included supporting the development of Colombian cyber security capability.
In his current role as Assistant Director, Cyber Security Exports he leads on engagement with UK industry, and marketing of UK cyber capabilities overseas. He has designed promotional material promoting the strengths of the UK sector and regularly meets with companies to give initial advice on overseas markets and opportunities.
